Part One of an alternative future :)
‘It is too dark in here…’ Vardarianna protests as the maiden’s walk through dark tunnels. The only light coming from one small torch in the near distance.
‘I can see well enough.’ The elf, Minyelaire, states calmly. The Gondorian woman cannot see it but the elf smiles knowingly.
‘I did not trust that man one bit… He gave me the shivers.’ Vardarianna states, then stepping into something wet and sludgy, causing her to wrinkle her nose and Grimace. ‘These are new as well! I stole them from that stupid noble woman… Oh I will hardly find another pair like them’ She protests, taking off the delicate silk shoes; leaning up against a wall, or maybe pillar and then putting on a pair of sensible travelling boots.
‘Ruined silk shoes here… Any takers?’ She smiles, throwing the unwanted shoes away and into the darkness.
‘Well, he is dead now.’ The elf Daerundros says, rather nonchalantly. ‘I could tell he wanted to kill us, from the very first moment I had set my eyes upon him.’
Vardarianna scoffs loudly. ‘Then there is our proof that the man is not trust worthy!’ She shouts- though perhaps her voice is a little too high in volume, she is met with a reply; her own voice, echoing throughout the tunnels.
They all stop, Minyelaire sighs loudly and then Daerundros laughs ever so slightly.
‘Oh Vardar… I do love it when you are in these fiery moods.’ Minyelaire chimes happily, then she continues along the hallway, the others following her.
