The Great Adventure

There once was a hobbit lad and his lass
With a too la roo la ree!
As they sat in their shop and looked out through the glass
they decided to go to Bree

Along the road they met an old man
with a too la roo la ray!
His beard was long and his face had a tan
and he stopped them both to say

"Where is it you're headed, you reckless two?
With a too la roo la tell!
Would your parents agree to this plan if they knew?
You had best first say farewell!"

The hobbits laughed and they shook their heads
With a too la roo la roar!
"Our folks are safely tucked up in their beds!"
They exclaimed and then laughed some more

The old man shook his head at their cheek
With a too la roo la nay!
"You'll be sorry quite soon, your future looks bleak,"
He said and went on his way

Just then was heard a loud growling noise
With a too la roo la ... mother!
The hobbits stopped dead in the middle of the road
And they looked each at the other

Another growl, t'was their tummies call,
With a too la roo la rumble!
Each spoke, "You know, home is best of all,
Even if it be quite humble!"

They turned around with a skip and a hop
And a too la roo la riser!
Back home they went to their hobbit shop
And no one was ever the wiser!
