While the Free Peoples believe peace has finally settled over Middle-earth, a different struggle is unfolding beyond the reach of their watchful eyes. In the ruined lands of Udûn, forgotten fortresses stir once more as The Nameless Fear gathers exiles, traitors, outcasts, and servants of darkness beneath no banner but fear itself.

The great wars have ended, and the kingdoms celebrate their fragile peace. Their watchtowers still stand, their banners still fly, and their people believe the darkness has passed.
They are wrong.
Far from the eyes of kings, beneath the broken mountains of Udûn, a new power gathers. It seeks no crown, no realm, and no glory. It seeks only to spread fear, to sow distrust, and to ignite a war before anyone realizes it has already begun.
This is the beginning of that tale.
