At the Dwarven Caravan Market at Thorin's Hall, Frimsi explains to his friends that he narrowly survived an assassination attempt by the secretive criminal organization known as the mashaknan. And he concedes that yes perhaps the order of Durin's Folk could use some more help with security. But despite all this, Frimsi seems to be in his usual cheerful spirits. He is only upset about the merchandise that was destroyed in the explosion. His friends vow to catch and even kill these would-be assassins.
