29th of Aston
I’m preparing a journey to Oatbarton, to visit my Father and Mother.
I received some letters they need aid with there crops.
Because of the season lots of pests have crawled on the fields eating the vegetables.
I do hope I got in time to save any of the crops, but I’m sure the community will give my family a hand.
And besides helping them, I can check on Matti, my pet Shrew.
Would he still be there in my Fathers old barn?
It would be a long journey but I’m going to make a night stop at the Plough and Star inn
I’m already looking forward to it, they serve the best malt I know of .
And my Rosie would want some rest too.
I will travel light, some rations for underway, not to much.
Only some mushrooms, taters, oh carrots and onions would do nice.
Perhaps I could ask Yllisa to bake a pie for me, Some eggs.. oh I could also fish some fresh catfish. And don’t, forget to bring some butter, some salt.. best from Scarry.
Besides all the ingredients and food, a hat, and a cloak for when the weather turns, and it will rain.
Alright everything has been packed now… oh wait Don’t forget to bring my lute.
It would be nice to see my old Town where I grew up.
The fields, and the rivers, and the woods nearby.
When I’m done with helping my Father and mom,, I will have a nice stroll before I return.
