Background

Gael hails from the village of Snowbourn, in Rohan. She the only female, in a family of a men, was a beacon of joy and music and was recognized by her auburn hair that framed her face and her striking green eyes that shone with life. As a minstrel, her harp was her voice, telling tales of valor and love that resonated through the grasslands and plains of her homeland.

Her entire family was renowned in Rohan for their musical talents. Her father was a revered bard, and her three brothers shared his gift, creating melodies that captured the hearts of many. Gaelia's fiancé, Rohawn, was a warrior with a gentle soul, who cherished her music and the life they were soon envisioning together. So those were times before the War of the Ring.

The Battle of Helm's Deep changed everything. In the night of fierce combat and unyielding courage, Gaelia's father, brothers, and Rohawn perished defending the inner keep, their arms defending the wounded, women and children and their deaths all honorable.

Their loss struck Gael like a storm, leaving her adrift in a sea of grief.

In the aftermath, Gael wandered the forests near Fangorn, seeking refuge from her sorrow. It was there she met Quickbeam, the ent recognizing the sadness in Gael's eyes, befriended her, offering companionship and wisdom. Her quiet demeanor belied a deep well of resilience, and while she still rarely speaks of her past, her presence brought comfort to those she encountered.

While in Bree she met another minstrel, Guriwen and two formed a band called Bards Legacy. It seems a fitting name because both the young women carried with them the ability to instill hope and yet were orphans, shaped by tragic events. Gael serves as the band leader, content to play music.
