Background
Background:
With the Rangers of the North travelling south, being led by Halbarad in aid to their chieftain, Aragorn, the lands of the North are left virtually defensless. Those few rangers who have remained are not enough to hold back the increasing threat of Angmar and the other areas with encroaching orcs and evil men.
With this in mind Alveron was commissioned by one of the remaining Rangers to form a legion to act in the absence of the many rangers. He was to lead the legion where ever they were needed and would be given most control over them, but the legion, in times of doubt or great need must always answer to the rangers.
And so the legion was founded by Alveron. A few warriors whom Alveron had seen before were the first recruits to the legion. Since then Alveron has been travelling the lands, searching out more warriors he believes could prove useful for the legion and the defence of the North.
