This week’s scenario is detailed below:
Sad tidings hang over the air in Minas Tirith. Aranarion intends to depart the city, and he bids farewell to the friends he's made in the city, and prepares to embark on a new journey westward through Gondor. Some shall join him on this journey, and some shall not. Join him in the City Stables of Minas Tirith on the first level, where he prepares to depart.
OOC NOTE: This will be a plotted session with a DM, we will be moving locations more than once. If you're late and wish to join: IM Aranarion when you get in-game.
It is important to recognize that these events are intended for everyone to enjoy, which is why, by joining these events, you agree to the following provisions:
- We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave at any point for any reason. If we feel you are being disruptive or making people uncomfortable, you will first be asked to leave with a warning. If you are asked a second time, you will not be welcomed back to these events.
- These events are focused on the artistry, culture, music, and history of Gondor and the other peoples of Middle-Earth during peacetime and we'd like to maintain that vision. If your character is a soldier or a knight, that does not mean you cannot attend, but rather this will not be the place for battles and military RP.
- While characters of all races and cultures are welcome, Gondorian characters are preferred. We understand that not all players have Gondorian characters and to that end, if you wish to be involved with a non-Gondorian character, you are welcome to join us.
- Stories is a “heavy RP” event, which means that the spamming of fireworks or OOC emotes or items that disrupt RP are not permitted. Furthermore, we are focused on high quality emotes in our character interactions. Take your time, slow down, and be thoughtful with what you write so that we can all enjoy ourselves!
- Not every event for Stories will be held in Minas Tirith (Midsummer); many will be located in the landscape of Gondor and King’s Gondor. As such, if you want to participate in those events, you may need to level your characters.
- Please be cognizant of your character’s relation to their location. If you do not have a reason for a certain character to be in Gondor at a certain time—and it feels forced to do so—then try another character that better fits the location of these events!
