Soon the sounds of the battle were broken by a sudden silence as the Leader of the corsair entered the fray.
- Harzim! - Thandanar then yelled at the corsair leader. Aelwynna applied pressure to her wound, breathing heavily. Her eyes narroed at the sight of Harzim. Forngarmo pulled out Athelas from her pocket and turned to the woman.
- Put that on the wound... - She said then turned attention back to the corsair leader. Harzim offered a bow at the company.
- Greetings, brave ones... I see you've slain my Corsair force...There is no need for further bloodshed. I have a plan. Why don't you send your best two fighters against my best two? - He then asked towards the fellowship. Meanwhile Aelwynna nodded gratefully to the ranger and then kneeled down at the back lines to conserve her energy. Forngarmo looked at her new allies and started to think about volunteering.
- I assume they are too scared to face my champions.. - The Leader then said towards Fajr. The Forngarmo was becoming irritated at their might.
- I will go. - She then said with an emotionless tone, joining Thandanar ahead. Harzim laughed at the Forngarmo but that didn't discourage her. Her eyes were burning with hate. The hate towards the enemies of the North. Thandanar looked at the ranger beside him.
- Are you ready? - He asked her in Sindarin.
- Yes... - She answered him in the same language.
- Very well... - He then said.
- Harzim al Umbari, you stand accused of many a treachery and evil deeds. Our champions will seek justice! - Minaiadan then yelled towards Harzim. The corsair then pointed to his champions, he introduced them with an air of confidence.
- I present you now my champions... - He said with an emotionless tone. The tension in the air heightened as the company braced themselves for the formidable battle ahead against Malikar, Seraphia, and their Corsair comrades.
- Then send your champions, accursed one, we have no fear! - Thandanar then said stepping forward and readying his shield. - Be ready for anything. - He then said looking at the Forngarmo for the last time.
- Whatever happens, don't let him escape... - She then answered, glancing back at him and then appraising their enemies.
- There will be no parley.... Valar be with you, friends. - Minaiadan then said trying to boost the resolve of the fighters. As Malikar, the Towering Corsair, charged forward with a thunderous blow aimed at Thandanar, the air crackled with tension. Meanwhile, Seraphia, the Agile Duelist, closed in on Forngarmo with blinding speed. Her knives danced in the air as she executed a flurry of precise strikes, testing Forngarmo's defenses. As the battle raged on, Malikar, the Towering Corsair, managed to land a powerful blow against Thandanar, causing a grim injury that sent shockwaves of pain through him. Thandanar would feel the weight of the titan's hammer as it hits his chest armour sending him stumbling back. On the other side of the confrontation, Forngarmo's skill and resolve prevailed as she successfully blocked Seraphia's rapid attacks. Amidst the chaos of battle, Harzim lets out a malicious laugh. Forngarmo parried Seraphia's blows with ease, clashing against her blades and waiting for an opening. When she revealed a weak spot, she hit it with her greatsword. The battle grew even more intense as Malikar, undeterred by his previous blow, unleashed a powerful kick that struck Thandanar with bone-shattering force. Thandanar might have felt a sharp pain as a rib likely broke under the impact, and he was sent flying backward, crashing against the nearby wall. At the same time Seraphia, the Agile Duelist proved her agility once more. Despite Forngarmo's best efforts, she swiftly maneuvered her knife, finding an opening and driving it into her waist. Forngarmo did her best to parry the blades but her waist gets hit as she missed one of them. She stumbled backwards, trying to regain her composture.
- The Dhahab wins again! - Harzim said observing the battlefield's view, he laughed loudly.
- Not as long as we live... - The Forngarmo then said regaining her composture.
- I.. I am not finished yet - Thandanar stood up, despite the pain. The ranger managed to block the next attack and stroke at the next opening, driving the greatsword into her opponents waist.
- Returning the favor.... - She said gritting her teeth as her wound started to bleed. As Seraphia attempted to launch another swift attack, Forngarmo, with a determined and precise thrust, managed to drive her blade into her side. The sharp steel pierced her flesh, causing her to gasp in pain as blood began to flow from the wound.
- Die now... - With a cruel and triumphant laugh, Malikar, the Towering Corsair, wasted no time. He hurried toward the injured Thandanar, a sinister smile on his face. Gripping his massive two-handed war hammer, he raised it high above his head, ready to deliver a potentially devastating blow. As the Knight looks up, he saw the behemoth towering above him, his hammer raised. He slashed low at his leg, biting deep.
- You... are done. - Forngarmo managed to dodge and parry incoming strikes before finally charging and driving her greatsword through her opponent. Seraphia's valiant efforts to block Forngarmo's attack were in vain. With a swift and decisive strike, Forngarmo's sword cut through Seraphia's belly, a mortal wound that left her collapsing to the ground, life slipping away. The battle continued to unfold in a brutal and unforgiving manner. Thandanar, despite his injuries, managed to land a successful slash at Malikar's leg. Malikar winced in pain and fury as the blade cut through his flesh. In retaliation, with a powerful kick, he sent Thandanar flying once again, crashing into the unforgiving wall. As the Umbarrim Champion battling her fell, the ranger attempted to rush to Thandanar's aid. Aelwynna looked with fear at him. She managed to get to her feet.
- On your feet Thandanar, sagelord of Gondor! - Minaiadan then cried out. With a furious roar, Harzim singled out Forngarmo and pointed a menacing finger at him. The Corsair leader's rage was palpable as he gestured toward his seven other Corsairs, including Fajr, signaling them to attack the company. The Forngarmo charged back at them, being unable to reach Thandanar. As the behemoth lumbered towards Thandanar again, he stroke across. he yelled... Thandanar stroke. The man looked down, feeling a pain in his mouth as he saw Thandanar's sword. straight through the bottom of his skull.
- And so the storm... ends. - He said finishing his enemy off. The other seven corsairs charged at the group. Aelwynna sighed with despair as more corsairs charged at them. She unsheathed her dagger once more, though this time in her non-dominant right hand, as her left arm was too wounded to wield a weapon.
- Fight, fight for the North, and a red dusk of corsair blood! - Minaiadan then rallied his allies. Thandanar drawn his sword from the Umbarrim behemoth's skull as his body falled limp. He gripped his side with his shield arm, raising his sword arm with what energy he had left. Aelwynna became overwhelmed seeing the corsairs charging them. She felt a dark power summoning within her, and she tried to suppress it. Due to pushing it down, the dark energy was blasted at those close to her, and she fell to the ground with a groan. The battlefield became silent once again as both of remaining forces, including the company's reinforcements got blown unconscious to the ground...
