Song and poetry: A moongates bridge

Stone gate and mirror shivering shy
Hanging from water towards the sky
Hanging from waves  towards the deep,
What secret magic do you keep?

To other worlds frame and indenture
Tall arches promising adventure
If one would pass to the other side
What secret magic do you hide?

All ways reflection, sky and water
Dear past one way, bright future other
You wait alluring in the sun
A golden path beneath rose dawn

You're built of dreams more than of stone...
Again, trough you, on waves that moan
A song that any dangers hides
Another boat towards the sun glides

Beneath your arches a man or boy
Now leaves behind a world of joy,
In front all hopes but no known thing
Trough a gate from here to all and nothing
