This Week’s RP Situation: Galfar is an old and respected Dwarf merchant. He has had dealings with the elves of Rivendell all of his life. But for his 200th birthday one of these said elves gave him a gift, a gift that the OTHER elves of Rivendell must not see. So now Galfar, who usually had assumed himself above the schemes of Frimsi, has asked Frimsi for help: he needs to smuggle this “gift” out of Rivendell so it can be stored in the king’s vaults in Erebor. Frimsi has eagerly agreed to help Galfar, but not without some good natured teasing first. And so this is why Frimsi decided to host this week’s Dwarven Caravan Market in Rivendell: to serve as a distraction so this “gift” can be safely transported out of Rivendell without attracting the attention of jealous elves.
A few OOC details to consider:
1) This RP event will take place during a POST-war timeline. So for the most part for this RP event we will be assuming a timeline that is up to date with what is going on in the game plot wise.
2) Anyone is allowed to attend as a vendor should he or she want to. And the exchange of in-game items as a vendor in the market is OPTIONAL. Though this is first and foremost a RP event, so if you aren't a RPer you probably would not enjoy attending.
3) If you need help getting to one of the markets when it is hosted in a higher level area, please contact one of the officers of Durin's Folk for help getting there.
4) All races are welcome!
