Annúminas

And hereth lie for summer's rays,

To bask these splendors of the Dunedain,

In brim white light for all to see,

The once great city of Annúminas.

The woods themselves in sadness hum,

For all the ears who lend themselves,

To hear of tragic fate befell,

The once great city of Annúminas.

Near water's shores, this fate transformed,

In purest music form create,

For such a moving force it bread,

The once great city of Annúminas.

Mountains bowed their heads to cry,

And rivers flowed from down their sights,

To join the lake in sorrowful song,

Of once great city of Annúminas.
