Background
Concerned by Dwarven-tales spun around the hearth in the Bird and Baby Inn in Michel Delving, young Hobbit Hildegrin Took, a Watcher of the Bounds, and an adventurer by heart, who would always take trips by moonlight and stay for several nights at the Prancing Pony in Bree, spoke with his commanders in the Bounds.
They had heard strange tales, and gave Hildegrin leave to create the Wardens of the Free, an offshoot of the Bounders, to help rally against the Shadow of Sauron in the East (though rumors persist that it was simply to get him out of the way, as his youth combined with his Tookish blood meant he had several personality traits that most Hobbits tended to avoid. Some even say the elder Hobbits hoped he would go off into the Blue and never return). Since then, he is gathering a militia of all Free-Peoples, not just Hobbit-folk, to help the Free-Peoples defend themselves during the war yet to come...
