And so, the shortest days of the year recede behind, and the first stirring begins. Those hardier flowers now open to welcome the lengthening of Anor's passage across the firmament.
As in Arda, so there is a fresh stirring in Thamas Lorn!
Two willing volunteers found their way to our Halls, hearkening to the call for those of valiant and selfless heart. Gilaeron and Glawaron - a pair matched in their light and buoyant demeanour. Though not skilled in the art of shield and spear that we so desperately need, I foresee they will fulfil a vital role in our herth.
Furthermore, Ithillir has also reported an increase in those mustering to the banner, and it was with joy that we received fresh reinforcements, sent upriver from the South Watch. Hadoraer - an old friend of Aearandir's - and the keen and attentive Istuir were a welcome sight as we met them at the quay of Celondim!
Ithillir's letter assures me there will be further wardens to follow as his training schedule allows. Let it be soon!
