The House of Helcharon
The traditional arms of the House of Helcharon (Sindarin: Cold Moon), depicting a crescent moon rising over the White Mountains (Ered Nimrais). The House of Helcharon is a minor noble Gondorian family with a long military tradition, dating back to the days of Elendil and the Last Alliance of Elves and Men.
The family are believed to have descended from a clan of "Middle-Men" who resided in the White Mountains before the Faithful arrived in Middle-Earth. When the Númenóreans established the Realms in Exile, they chose to preserve their noble status by marrying into the nobility from Númenor.
