Eira's mother was alive.
Eira's mother was here.
Eira's mother loved her.
Eira's mother was happy that she had abandoned Mordor.
Eira awoke from her sleep in Nimraph's arms. Adjusting herself a bit, cuddling closer to him, Eira looked back on her emotionally charged yesterday. She had opened up to Egfor and his mother, Gwawrr, about some of the painful parts of her life in Gorgoroth. Then when they returned to Demlemoth's Estate, she was startled by the sudden appearance of her mother.
They reconciled their feelings of failure towards each other and rekindled their bond. On top of that, they were both pregnant. Sara Mosa was just a bit more along than Eira was.
With Aglarzor dead, only the future was ahead of them. Eira owed so much to Demlemoth and Egfor for this; especially having given them so much grief while they helped her still.
Eira adjusted her sleeping position again. She kissed Nimraph's nose, smiling as she opened her eyes and admired his sleeping, rested face. She closed her eyes only a bit later, succumbing to sleep once more.
The past was in the past now. Only the future remained.
