"Please stay still, hir."
"I am… OUCH! You just stabbed me?!" Fearelhil, yelped in pain and jerked away.
The tailor leaned back, pulling pins from her mouth, exclaiming in a moment of temper, "Would you just shut up and stay still?!"
Fearelhil grumbled softly and rubbed at the pinprick of blood on his neck, trying to settle down with a sigh.
The tailor went back to work, "I must admit, this is an odd colour for you, hir. It looks surprisingly wonderful on you. But why the wardrobe change?"
Fearelhil pursed his lips, glad she was behind him and couldn't see the blush gracing his cheeks, "There… is someone I fancy. This is his favourite colour."
The tailor's hands froze, a grin crossing her features, "You, Fearelhil the stoic Noldo, fancy someone?!"
Fearelhil sighs, regretting having said anything, "I… yes."
The tailor steps back, "Carefully take the outer robe off so I can tailor it. Shouldn't take long.
Fearelhil steps down from the hox he was on, gingerly taking off the robe and hands it to her. The tailor took it gently and sat herself down. She threaded a needle and began to sew away, "Now, tell me about him, Hir Fearelhil."
Fearelhil folded his arms. The smith looked odd wearing fine robes of a pale blue, but it suited him well. He spoke softly, "I am not sure what to tell you."
The tailor prompts him, eyes focused on her stitches, "Well, you mentioned this is his favourite colour."
Fearelhil clears his throat, "I am not sure. I see him wear this colour a lot. I am just assuming. It suits his hair which reminds me of spun mithril… His laugh reminds me of a bubbling brook on a warm spring day. I dearly wish he could grant me the honour of hearing him sing and play. My heart races when I see him, like a cavalry charge crashing into combat with my feelings. I…. Hrm." He cuts off, embarrassed about his rambling.
The tailor looks up in surprise. "You are not only a smith of metal and jewels, but of words." She stood up and offered Fearelhil the finished robe.
Fearelhil huffs softly and takes the robe, spinning on his heels and walking off as he pulls it on.
