Patient: "Man", male, middle-aged (assumed)
Syndrome: Severe burns, body, right side.
Treatment: Rest, cooling salve, pain relief
He is finally asleep. I may need to adjust the pain relief mixture, it's too strong. While effective, it seems that he forgets his injuries too often and is out of bed, either to wander or insist on helping with one thing or another. I may need to strap the man down to keep him from moving and ruining progress. Regardless, I'll have to thank him for helping Catalinna with a patient while I was out.
The medication makes his tongue loose. I've spent the last hours sat down by his side and listening. I was surprised at how much he told me, what he said. I assume that much of it wasn't ever meant to be heard by me.
My suspicions have been confirmed, at least. I've thought about sending a message, but this isn't a matter I should involve myself in. I will leave it and focus on the treatment.
I'll study his healing progress carefully. I may require another body with similar injuries, to see if my theory holds up. I believe so after observing the other, but I have no firm proof.
I need to be able to watch the healing process side by side. I'll look into the matter further, see what can be done. I have other things to focus on for now, such as making sure the patient keeps to his bed. I'll never understand his insistence of helping with everything. Maybe it's in their blood, to always be moving.
