Belegaran's journal, First entry

This has been a busy week indeed, with the birth of two beautiful babies – and what’s more, we were blessed to have both a baby girl and baby boy. I dare say this week started out rather stressful though, as at various moments I feared for Lu’s life. Thankfully everything went well and Lu is recovering good also, though that is hardly a surprise to me as she’s strong. Lu and I decided to change the nappies from the babies in turns, as that is obviously the fairest choice to make, though I wonder if she keeps to that rule. This Wednesday I had to change the nappies of Little Lu, or Lufian as his proper name is. I didn’t look forward to do that obviously but it turned out to be my turn. Some ten minutes later Lu and I exchanged babies and I got to hold Little Bel, or Belwyn as her proper name is. It turned out that Little Bel smelled also, but as Lu was singing a song to Lufian, so I had to change the nappies of Belwyn also. I reckon Lu knew this when we exchanged babies, she truly is a cheek and a tease and I can’t help myself but laugh afterwards as well. Apart from that everything has been fairly normal, I get accused of snoring as usual, though I reckon that isn’t true as she’s the snorer between us two, and I’m also accused of waking the babies as my snoring wakes them apparently. Tomorrow I should be doing a little bit of gardening at Lu’s request, though I don’t look forward to it, I find it so incredibly boring and tiring also. I reckon both Luwyn and the babies shall laugh at my clumsy work.
