A Rumour in Falathlorn

A company of warriors rumoured to be of the House of Vanimar were seen participating in drill training last week in Falathlorn. Loud shouting and sounds of marching instructions were heard in and around the Lant Veren neighbourhood. Neighbouring elves say that after recieving their initial inspections and basic formation drills from their officer (whose rigorous behaviour did not go unnoticed) the company began their march towards Duillond, singing old marching songs of their house. Some of the curious neighbours followed the group towards Duillond where the Company broke formation and entered an intense combat training phase, dueling and practicing to recognise the strengths and weaknesses of their differing styles. Sounds of clashing swords echoed in the area and curious elves of the surrounding settlements are said to have come to watch from even as far as Celondim. Whether it was a regular training drill or the House of Vanimar is readying for battle remains uncertain, one thing is clear, the Power of the Eldar has not completely left these shores...
