The View... I Taentîr

Niemíre pauses at the doorstep of her small shop, an apothecary, where she sells all of her herbs and flowers. All grown at the Fanyamar estate further up in the vale of Thráin, just outside Duillond.

She ’inherited’ the responsibility of the estate when her aunt moved to Imladris, and now….she makes the best of the gardens, uprooting vines of old to give room for herbs of the present.

There in the morning light she pauses… Taking a new look at the harbor of Mithlond, seeing it in with a new… ’The View’… That is how Oarwen had coined it.. Marvelous, just right. Why hadn't she seen it before?

She had met Oarwen a few weeks earlier at the docks, and they had joked about this and that, as only close friends can do. Anoher couple had chanced upon them, hir Lutho and hiril Ulhlusse, long-standing residents of Mithlond, and joined their company.

She had invited them all up to tea at her shop, and it was then that Oarwen had laughingly stated the obvious… The view of the harbor, and the boats.

Niemíre smiles, as is if seeing her small shop with new eyes, and in a new light. Why hadn't she seen it like this before…

The followong day she meets with Bregedúr to order a small sign to hang on her door… ”The View”… ”I Taentîr”.
