I have sent a letter to Miss Taite after seeing her post on the noticeboard, requesting to meet with her and order a few items for winter, and maybe some things for Leoffrith too. With my first ever snowy winter on the horizon, I realized that I do not have much in the way of winter clothing, only the fur coat I recently had made for me. I recognized Taite's name as one Leoffrith's mentioned before, or I might have simply gone back to the tailor I bought my coat from.
He asked me to marry him last night. I said no. I love Leoffrith, with my entire heart, but I think it's too soon for me to get married again. I am not in doubt about my love, nor his, but it is so very soon. I have never met his family and I don't even know if they know about me at all. I think it would be a poor first impression if I showed up with him in the Mark to meet them for the very first time, already married to their son. I couldn't tell how he felt about it. I imagine that no one wants to be rejected that way, but I still love him and I'll still live with him if he wants me to.
I've been wanting to show him to Sallryn's grave, where I took Khazim. I haven't yet felt ready to go there again, but I think it will be easier if I take him with me.
