Chapter two, Disbanded.
I found myself underneath some ruins, The Snow storm was no more, but that didn't mean the cold was gone either. If it wasn't for the food the Elf gave me, I would not be here right now.
I woke up, underneath those ruins I found after wandering around Bree-town. Later I found out that that place was called 'Beggars Allay' Typical for me to find shelter there. I thought about my father, and if he would still be here? Was he looking for me? No he would never.
I stood up and looked at the pure white snow, wich was reflecting the sun in my eyes. I walked for a while. And finally end up by a small staircase. I looked up and saw a sign of a Pony. And not just a regular pony but a Prancing Pony. I decided to take the gamble and walked up the stairs. On top of it was a door, surely someone must be behind the door. That some someone must have seen my father. I opened up and Entered. Inside were several man and woman Talking and drinking.
'A Tavern' I heard myself say soft. Not shortly after I entered a Big man with a strange mustache and a glass in his hand came to me. He asked me what bussiness I had in a place for grown-ups.
'I am looking for my father' I responsed quickly. Hoping that he heard me.
The man did. he laughed.
'You sure? As far as I know most man here don't even have a wife. Drinking to much if you ask me. But tell me? What does he look like.'
I became sad. How did my father looked? Could I even remember myself? I never dared to look at him, afraid he will hit me once again.
'Green eyes.' And while I said that, the man bent towards me.
'How Green?'
'Green' I knew this was a stupid answer, but he did asked for one. 'And long grey hair. A brown cloak.'
The man smiled a little and raised it's hand.
'Old man Maldir, is it not?' he said while he landed his hand on my head. 'Too bad he left a little while ago. Arn't you supposed to be with him then?'
I nodded and looked at the man. I wanted to cry, but why could I not? Did I note care that he left me? Did I hated him so much already?
I shaked my head. Telling him I was staying with family at a farm nearby. Then I turned around, and left the Tavern back into the snow. There i sat again, underneath the ruins as my eyes closed.
If you can't see the sun because of the clouds. It Doesn't mean the sun isn't there.
