Meeting:
The child that Fiontann and miss Cedwyn have been caring for has turned ill. I forgot to have Fiontann come over to fetch the supplies. I instead visited the Thirsty Boar to meet with them. The child was alone with the few staff I saw.
I had the tea brewed for her and decided to stay with the child. I got her into bed where I managed to get her to drink the tea while I applied a cold rag to her forehead and neck.
She told me that she had overheard master Maddoct and Fiontann talking about her parents and she may be abandoned. She asked me what it meant. I may get a scolding soon for telling her. The child had trouble sleeping, and so I stayed for awhile. She asked for a story, and I told her the only one I know, she fell asleep slowly after I had started.
I've left the supplies with the tavern keep, and he assured me he'd keep an eye on the girl. I may visit again soon to check on her.
I continue to look over my shoulder. Keep having the odd feeling someone is watching me and following, but I never see anything.
When I returned to the Soothery, I noticed miss Rushwood out in her yard. I decided to make sure that she had gotten the copper I added to the envelope. It appears all is as it should be.

I'm still unable to sleep for long. Something gnaws at me, I'm restless, and my body feels strangely irritated, but I don't know by what. I need a long walk.
