I received a letter today. Two, actually, but only one is important. It said that my brother had a vault here in Bree, and there was a key in the envelope. For some reason, I am so terrified of going and finding out what is in this vault, if it was so important enough that my brother bestowed upon a friend the key to give to me when I came looking for him, as apparently he knew I would.
The other letter was from Khazim, writing back to me. I had asked him to meet with me later, so that I could take him to meet my brother. I have only been to visit the graveyard once. I did not mention that he would be meeting a tombstone instead of a person, I felt that it was best to leave it to be discovered. I plan to tell him of the key and the vault, and then my plans for returning to Near Harad.
There is this small voice in the back of my mind. It tells me that he will ask me to stay here anyway, but... I do not think that is his way. I do not have friends or family here or back home, I do not know where I belong now.
