Patient: Human, male, adolescent
Symptoms: Broken bone, hand
Treatment: Bone-setting,White willow bark tea
Meeting: In a week
A young man came in with a marred hand. Out of a foolish dare, the boy placed his hand on an anvil while the blacksmith was working and got struck. He's lucky that the bone didn't shatter and his hand need not to be removed.
The bones were set and waxed bandages wrapped, to keep the boy from moving his hand. He's been instructed to keep the hand in a sling for the next ten weeks. Willow bark has been given for the pain and swelling.

Patient: Human, male, adolescent
Symptoms: Broken bone, head injury
Treatment: Bone setting, chamomile tea, rest
Meeting:
The young boy entered the soothery, disoriented and limping. Bíld tended to the boy while I was otherwise occupied. The boy fell off a horse while riding here, suffered a head trauma and a broken leg. The break was clean and Bíld, along with myself, were able to set it with wax bandages and splints. The boy has been spitting up, likely the result of the head trauma. Tea has been given to settle his stomach. His leg has been placed in a cradle and the boy will remain in my care until he can be moved and a place found for him to stay at.

A woman came by to pick up misses Ashburn's medicine. I've asked her to seek employment with the woman to make certain that misses Ashburn doesn't forget the medicine or takes too much of it. It'll do her well to have someone keeping an eye on her.
