Bound Fate

Avaru and her gathered warriors left the inn, heading northwards, with a few others staying behind thinking a head on attack isn't the best option, among other things–

Kaiell stands in puzzlement as they reach their destination... Nen Harn. Perhaps one of the last places he wanted to be again... and it wasn't just the place, but the people. The familiar dwarf (who again seemed unhappy or suspicious of Kaiell's presence), among a couple others that were present in that... unforgettable battle fought not all that long ago. And after preparing and learning various things, he gathered that the island – mostly likely the one he was held captive on – was to be attacked. As far as he knew the island was kept by the free-peoples, or had been. It was obvious now that it must have been taken over...

In any case, all of this news came in no small amount of perplexity to Kaiell. How did he find himself in this place once again, fighting a similar battle to last time? He agreed to help a few elves and other random warriors, sure, but he hadn't agreed to this fateful coincidence. Perhaps the dwarves were right... "Never trust an elf!"
