A Soldier Makes Do

Reverence or attachment to one's armoury is not something Hravanis understands or practices. She values ruthless practicality and speed, especially in the field, and will rarely hold onto the same sword or piece of armour if it is broken beyond it's purpose. Perhaps she will mend something, if she has the time, but more than likely she will deem it a waste.

She is assured that some other enemy on her path will afford her some replacement, and so often ends a quest adorned in strange and rustic attire and bearing orcish blades. She makes quite the sight for the wardens of Imladris when returning home. Hence, friends of hers ceased gifting her beautifully crafted swords or armour long ago, knowing it will soon be lost to some battle or ravine, no matter how elegant or well forged it might be.
