To Trestlebridge

The first thing that Fion saw when the entered The Thristy Boar was a letter left on the counter for him. He took, it, poured a mug of ale and took his usual sit on the stage. He made to take his pipe and start smoking but seeing who it was he released the pipe from his grasp and kept reading, drinking the ale every now and then. Taala wrote to him about The Bloody Dawn and requested a meeting with him. Her and Eroforth were at Trestlebridge for a while now and Fion knowing that they were busy he decided to get there himself. It'd be a good opportunity to clear his head of everything. He walked to his home, saddled Hedinn, his new horse and galloped out of the village, heading towards Bree and through it and then North straight to Trestlebridge.

The ride was pleasant, the morning breeze woke him up even more after his trainin and Hedinn enjoyed galloping for quite a while. He got the new horse some weeks ago, gave it the same name as his old one that died in Rohan, but kept it at the village since he didn't venture too far from his home or the inn. The road North was as always, nothing changed, it was also quiet as most of   the time he had his weapons of course as always, who knows who may roam those lands after all. The hours passed and with all that riding he felt as if the cold air had blown or sad or troubling thoughts from his mind, he was only thinking about what his two friends had to say to him.

Trestlebridge had changed from when he last saw it, to the better, some buildings were repaired, the town was livelier than the other times that he had been there and folk didn't look at him suspiciously as they sometimes did when passing through. First he strode around the town to see if he could find the pair, but he couldn't. The directions came from a passer by and Fiontann set for the hill that overlooks the town and the whole area, a good spot to stand guard and make sure no surprise attacks will come.

The grass was tall, a little higher than the knees of a man of an average height, the green peppered by the purple and red of flowers all over and there, amidst that dreamy hilltop he saw them. Eroforth and Taala, hugging, that didn't surprise him and knowing that they do it a lot he made his way towards them and the three started to talk

The talk lasted a good two hours and Fiontann was back on his horse, now riding fast, this time riding towards Toweglan and to meet any Dawners he could that were currently there.

Whom he'd find he didn't imagine...
