Master Thorstyn,
I have been seeking you for a few days time now, but without success. I have convinced myself that your absence is just an unfortunate coincident and that I have no reason to worry over you. However, my message is of great importance and I believe a hasty decision must be made. Neither have I been able to find any of our kinsmen, except for one – miss Cleowise, whom I have informed of the situation. But I fear that by doing so I have manage to severe the situation.
The matter concerns our friend Donhelm. I shall be brief with information in this letter for I suspect that you know more about this than I do myself. It has been five days since I met with Donhelm and he bid me his farewell, for good, was my impression. Donhelm has returned once more to the Mark to join in the War and to aid the people. Has he been summoned? I do not know. He was anxious to be on his way when we met and our meeting was neither informing nor long. He had been looking for you, but not been able to find you. He asked me to pass this message on to you and the other Talers.
As for the matter of miss Cleowise - she has gone after him, determined to put an end to his dangerous journey and she asks for your aid in this. If my sharing of information has put her in unnecessary danger I apologize sincerely.
I hope this letter finds you in good health... and soon.
Kailey
