It's no secret to anyone that while I was still acting Captain of the Watch, I had a great deal of enemies, and a handful of friends. Plenty of allies, limitless foes. It's been years. **Years** since I even set foot in Bree. And I'm left now to stand back and wonder; who will remember me? Who will see my face and regard me with any resemblance of recognition? I doubt there are many. I doubt there are *any*.
I would remember them, if they were there to be recalled. Nessya. Priya. Corrben. Brigwald. Tholorast. Cyliad, or whatever he's calling himself.. I remember the Bloody Dawn, but don't know if they're still around. I haven't a clue who is the current Captain of the Watch. I don't know anything. Did Bree need me? Or has it gotten along just fine with whoever is in charge? Did I leave my mark, or was my presence just a stain?
After all I did, and all I survived.. Everyone I remember.
