We arrived at Eaworth in the afternoon. Sigehelm and I ate all of our cookies on the way there, as we couldn't endure the nagging feeling of them just going untouched. They were so delicious, and it was worth it to buy them. Father decided that it was best that we should plan some more of our journey, and if we should continue stopping at each of the towns that we pass by, or just continue and camp by them. Father rented a room at the inn, and we quickly settled in. We bought some steak and potatoes, and some drinks, then started to discuss. Father spoke first. "Hmm, I believe we ought to hasten our journey back home, as with the threat of the orcs, or, supposed threat. As Sighelm suggested, they could want revenge for how we had slaughtered their kinsmen. Orcs are fools, more-so when attempting to ambush Rohirrim. We made short work of them, hence, the orcs of those that we slaughtered would be more angered, and when anything, no matter what race they are, are more strong and fierce in battle when enraged." Father nodded, seeming confident with his assumptions.
I was going to speak up, but Sigehelm had interrupted me, and gained the chance to speak. "Hmm, I agree. I do think that we should hasten our journey, however, it is most likely best to sleep in towns, for as you say, the orcs would be enraged at the death of their kinsmen, and that they would attempt to track us down. At least, they may, or may not. There is the fact that sleeping in a comfy bed in a safe town is better than sleeping upon a bedroll on the cold ground. Thats my thoughts upon the matter." Sigehelm nodded, stroking his chin as he spoke. I agreed with him, and said nothing upon the matter. I simply agreed with him for most of the time that we spoke, because he knew more than I, and had reason and logic, not the best logic mind you, but logic enough. I finished eating my meal as they got to the last straw of the discussion, I was going to ask to go to sleep until father had asked me upon my personal thoughts on the matter.
"I, well, I agree with Sigehelm. Nothing else really. To be truthful, I want to get home, quickly as possible. While it was a good and enlightening adventure, I miss mother and Burgwyn. I simply wish to get home as quickly as possible." I said, smiling as I had said mother and Burgwyn. "Father, can I just go to sleep?" Father nodded, and I went to sleep as quickly as I could. Dreams of home and mother and Burgwyn were ever present as I slept.
