Speculations of Ruins

It is not a interest of mine to know the history of all the ruins in the Lone-lands and Breelands, the obvious answer would be that they were a part of a ancient kingdom that once ruled all over of the land. I am not a scholar, nor do I possess much knowledge about the past of my own people, at least not in depth. I had never thought about this before, until I had met an Eglan. We met some days ago. I had mistook her for a bandit. The Eglain people do look have some concepts of bandits. We had quickly cleared up the situation, yet I was still suspicious, however I dismissed it as I journeyed to the Ruin-hold known as Ost Guruth, or as some people say, the City of Death. It was there that I had met Halmarna once again. We exchanged words and thoughts on what the Ruin-hold could be, first it was a settlement, then a prison. I simply said that it was a settlement, and nothing else. I am not one to dwell upon the past of a ruin. The Eglain are a odd folk, for they rob the dead for survival, and have odd problems. Survival, is one which we all share. They have more than one odd problem. It was not my business to interfere with the Eglain.
