Ash keeps the hood of her cloak covering her face and hair as much as possible as she approaches one of the Watchers just outside of Hookworth. She masks her voice as best she can, handing one a note. "Please sir, if you would deliver this note to Miss Brynleigh for me? You do know which house is hers, yes?" The Watcher assures her that he will deliver the note and she hands it to him reluctantly. "Thank you, sir." She walks away quickly, leaving the note with him. The Watcher reads the note quickly, making sure it's not a threat or some such thing.
Dear Miss Brynleigh,
I had heard you were assaulted and injured by the man called Wolfshead. I regret to say that I am in part, responsible for his actions. I could have stopped him before he began to hurt anyone of Bree, but I was foolish and did nothing. Now, for my actions, many people are paying who deserve no such thing. Please forgive me for my failure to stop this monster. I cannot tell you who I am, but if you ever need any form of assistance, leave a note with one of your guards. Again, please forgive me. I was glad to hear you are safe and not gravely injured.
The Watcher looks up to catch Ash before she leaves his sight, but she already ran off. His companion gives him an odd look and he shrugs faintly. "I will return shortly. I must deliver this to Miss Brynleigh as the lass requested." He frowns, not relishing playing the delivery man, but hurries off to lay the note on her doorstep regardless.
