A Rose and Work

It appears to me that love is not my strong suit, be it understanding it or gaining a lover. I've failed twice now, one with Eldryssa, however we are still friends, as opposed to Evelene, as she simply disappeared. I have another chance, at least, or perhaps not. We met at the Prancing Pony, luckily, the woman that was annoying me made me go over to Eldryssa's company, which made me go into Rosalene's company. She was along with a young chilld, Amanda, if I recall correctly. Due to me being a gentleman and a man with money, or decent amounts of it, I bought our drinks. Tea for Eldryssa, Cider for Rose, and Ale for me. Easy to remember. Rose was quite interested in my travels, how far I had went and such. I told her with great pride that the farthermost point I had ever traveled to was Gondor, Minas Tirith. The topic of Amanda began to arise when I had asked where her parents are, bluntly I asked if they are dead, which foolishly I said within Amanda's earshot, causing her to go outside. Eldryssa ran after her, while Rose and I spoke. For some reason, I had asked if we should check upon her, which just made it worse. I spoke to Amanda in a tongue I knew, that not most Bree-landers would know, or at least somewhat. After angering her further, and frustrating myself, I simply went back inside. Rose confronted me, comforting me by talking, I was glad. I believe we took a walk after, and I had shown her my favorite spot in Bree, a ruin upon a hill which watches all of Bree. After that we departed, and I went to rest, if I recall. Fate has led us to meet again and again, always at the Prancing Pony, once at the Market. I am always delighted to be with her. My feelings have grown more, from seeing her as friend to perhaps as well, my lover. We met again at the Pony, but this time we had gone for a walk. The day was quite warm, so Rose suggested that we head to the river. We played in the water, splashing each other, bragged about how far we could go in, and once the water got up to our necks, I decided, to kiss her. I enjoyed it, and apparently so did she. It was awkward, yes, but in the end, I'm glad, in a strange way, confessed my feelings. It appears to me that we have a contract, to go into the Weather Hills and scout out a place named Ost Anglos. Its filled with decaying corpses and gore, nothing that bad, I hope. I simply hope that it shall not be that bad, and nothing dramatic or worthy of song will happen, but I suppose we'll see.
