I arrived at Owena's bakery expecting a large party, as I have heard that there was a gathering there, and that it was open to all, so I thought that I should attend, as I haven't quite been in the company of Owena for some time. Sadly my 'formal' clothes have certainly slacked in the years and weeks and days, but at least I have found a somewhat worthy hat to be worn, alongside a comfy and formal robe. Formal and practical, I quite like it. It was interesting to find that a person named silver was there, which it appears to be a friend of Owena's. It seems to me that her business is doing quite well, which is splendid news, as I haven't quite talked to her about it, or mentioned it for sometime, nor have I thought about my past business with selling my wares. I believe the chance to do that again has passed; for now I am a mercenary in the Bloody Dawn and so shall I be, hopefully. I spoke with Gafford for some moments, inquiring about how his days as a blacksmith is going. It appears it is quite busy with all the new fresh spring orders and all, mostly horse-shoes, at least from what he said. He described there was a story that some poor lass drowned in a lake, most likely the Everclear lake or perhaps Halecatch, but none the less he described the story as that a "Lady of the Lake" drowned the lass, and waits for another victim. I laughed and called him a nim, meaning a polite way to say fool, or story-teller, in a way. Although it was a wonderful time while I was there, I needed to leave, for it was getting quite late. I came back though to deliver a gift to Owena, a carved wooden leaf, for that was my thanks. I've been working on it for some time now, but didn't think of the purpose or reason or what I'll do with it after I am done, but that means nothing now, as Owena has it.
