Winter's Gardener - Letter to Staddle

To: The Goodfields kinfolk
Staddle, Breeland

From: Miss Inkberry Goodfields, Purveyor of Fine Botanicals

Dear Mother, Father, second cousins twice removed, and all family in between,

I am pleased to report that Nog, Max and I have arrived safely in the North. At the time of this postcard, my wagon has yet to arrive though, so we are staying in tents. Nog says that even after the wagon arrives, he would rather sleep on the ground than on four wheels.  Nog has proven a stubborn and surly traveling companion, but he has allowed me to try out my new salves on his beard, so it has also proven a beneficial relationship.  Nog also takes his duties as a hired Axe very seriously.

I hope you enjoy this drawing. I'll write more once supplies arrive.

Very truly yours,
Inkberry
