((I always had various ideas on how the story of Atharan would end and what would happen with him after the war. By far my favorite creation is the one where he stays at the side of his former chieftain, now his king, and aids King Elessar in tracking down the remainings of Sauron's followers as well as establishing peace overall. As one of the High-captains of Gondor and advisor to the king. For he is one of the last of his bloodline that remained alive after the summoning and deeds of the grey company during the war.
