The Shadow Walkers: Shadows of Mordor

As the three friends entered Mordor, an uncomfortable feeling passed through them, but they all ignored it. They kept moving through Cirith Gorgor, defeating any orcs in their path, and they passed through Carach Angren. If they all weren't immune to fear, a wave of dread would have taken over their minds - but with the presence of two Eldar, the shadow of Mordor was nothing to them.

After passing through the Isenmouthe, they found themselves having lots to do. They spent weeks fighting orcs, uruks, trolls and rescuing members of the Host of the West from strongholds of the orcs. Even the presence of Ornessar and Calaerneth alone was dreadful to the orcs and being anywhere near the elves burned them and harmed them. Having rescued several allies, they eventually rescued a Gondorian captain. The captain insisted they moved back to Dagorlad (because of fear), but Ornessar, Katrandil, Calaerneth and a few more members of the Host did not listen to the captain's orders and followed Katrandil, the Forngarmo. The rest followed the Gondorian captain, whose name Ornessar did not remember.

The Forngarmo led them to the Tower of Cirith Ungol. They entered the pass looking for Shelob - who eventually, they found. The fight certainly wasn't swift, and it took them some time to succeed their goal. Typically, Ornessar and Katrandil were taunting the spider and were making her attack them instead of their allies, the rest of the Rangers and Gondorians were fighting against her and Calaerneth was weakening her. Ornessar was singing a war-chant in Quenya, which further weakened the spider. After a long fight, they brought the fell beast down and killed it. They certainly did celebrate their win, but they quickly went back to killing orcs and helping their comrades.

There certainly were more large fights for them - like their raids of other fortresses in Nurn, Lithlad, and Gorgoroth, and some of them were quite difficult, but they succeeded. Nurn, compared to Gorgoroth, looked like a hidden paradise to Ornessar's eyes, with all the beautiful landscape and the flora. But it was not a time for enjoying the landscape.

Nonetheless, after weeks and weeks of fighting in Mordor and getting supplies from Dagorlad, their goal was finally succeeded. The Host of Sauron was now gone. Middle-earth was free of this evil. And the legend of the Forngarmo would come to an end.

The Host of the West gathered to the Isenmouthe and they finally marched back to Minas Tirith. It was then that they learned that the Gondorian captain and his group had perished when trying to exit Mordor by falling into an orc trap. Needless to say, Ornessar felt like the captain deserved it, because he was quite rude to his friend.

As they returned to Minas Tirith, Katrandil decided to leave alone before the others, to meet an old friend there - a former Swan-Knight bannerguard called Nethdar. One day later, the Host finally entered Minas Tirith and they were all congratulated by the King, and given commendations and medals of honour. Ornessar and the rest of his group rested there for a night and got ready to leave the day after.
