A man of Rohan came to Bree, as I was in the town. I saw his horse, of such whiteness and strength. But the horses of the Rohirrim can never rival Elven Steeds, yet I marvelled at the beast so much, I decided to draw him. The linguistics were a challenge, but I learned the horse's name to be ''Arod''.
