Aallan Wanderer

in

It has been weeks since Dufr headed back to Bree with the bloodied remains of my garb.  As I watched him depart, I had pondered what to do for myself in the meantime, should he convince Bree of my apparent death.

Firstly, I would no longer shave regularly for the time being, until I can get Richard ousted from Breeland and end his threat for good.  All I have come across know Aallan Scarlet of old would keep himself clean shaven or have just a little stubble if that.  Hence, I would need to grow a sizable beard for myself.  Not too handsome, or the disguise would be for naught.  Speaking of, the last one of Jack Snip left much to be desired.... me in blue and green with no facial hair or even a hood.... rather foolish in hindsight.

Each day which passes me by pokes me with questions I hope to answer:  Such as what Richard's goal in Bree-Land is, why do the brigand buggers seem so willing to come with him all of a sudden, what could be taking Dufr so long as to just make a huge scene over my clothes... I guess I can find out myself when the time comes, or I'll bring myself to it, so help me Eru... eru, I think it was.  Knocking out a few bandits and half-orcs here and there to  rob them of their stuff did give me an idea for a disguise... make myself so plain looking, and absolutely ordinary appearing, nobody could even think to suspect me in another costume.

In the meantime, I've been keeping myself well fed with the rabbits roaming about and the occasional fish, along with fresh berries and bought vegetables from the Eglain.  They seem to be more tolerant of my company, rather than the watch these days.  I've actually been thanked for whacking out the half-orcs, but I can't help but think a few groups of them were heading out of the region and into Breeland... Who knows?  Hopefully I can meet up with Dufr once again and carry out the rest of the plan he cooked up.
