New Dryn, New Look

To him, it felt like it was time to let go of what rest of the past had remained on the young man of Bree. Dryn walked into the Prancing Pony inn before going the local barber, Cecil.

"I'm here to get some of this cut off," said Dryn.

Cecil had looked at him, bewildered by his request due to Dryn's long length of hair. The man would get paid either way, though. He motioned the young man to sit down in the chair to which Dryn had done so without a word. Dryn felt the shears being used on his hair. He had felt the weight of his long hair being lessened gradually. It was too late to go back now.

Eventually, the barber had stopped before giving Dryn a mirror so Dryn could look at himself. The young Bree-lander ran his fingers through his now-short hair. This possibly marked the end of the "new Dryn transformation." Despite of what bad things that had happened in front of him, he felt like he could push onward even further now.
