Eliad took a step inside of the Pony before looking around. He then made his way to the back, to where a certain someone would hopefully be there. He grinned as he peeked inside, knocking on the doorway gently as he sees a familiar brown hooded figure. The figure turned his head slowly, keeping his face hidden under his hood. As his eyes sat on Eliad, he lifted up with a small smile.
"Eliad, my son...," said Tahandil. "How have you been?"
"I have been well," answered Eliad. "I've heard that you had been around lately. I'm relieved that you're around."
"Yes, I recently returned," chuckled Tahandil lightly. "The trip was exhausting so I am quite weary, but it is good to see your face. Wish the whole family was here. We must find Chrissy and Mel."
"They haven't been around?" asked Eliad, moving to walk inside.
"Yes," answered Tahandil. "I was able to sit and have a drink with Mel a few days ago. She promised to take me to this... What do they call it... Some festival, but I have not seen Chrissy."
"...The Spring Festival?" asked Eliad.
"Ah, yes," replied Tahandil, nodding. "The Spring Festival. That's it."
"I heard it's rather nice from what I've heard," said Eliad.
"Hmm...," said Tahandil. "I am looking forward to it. I don't know when Mel will take me, or where she is for that matter."
"You should speak to her more," grinned Eliad. "It sounds like it could be a fun date."
"Fun date?" repeated Tahandil, raising his brow.
"Well, mhm," answered Eliad.
"Hmm...," said Tahandil. "Never heard of that term used in that manner before."
"Think about it!" said Eliad. "Nice weather, you and her dressed nicely, enjoying the festivities..."
"Well...," said Tahandil. "She has pulled at the heart strings as of late... I do really love her... I have not had this feeling in quite sometime."
"I'm glad that you're happy, Dad," smiled Eliad. "You deserve to be."
Tahandil smiled to himself before standing.
"Shall we go to the main hall?" asked Tahandil.
"Of course," answered Eliad, nodding.
The two walked to the main hall, Eliad seeing a few people, one of them he faintly remembered as Dem and the other being Raven. Eliad saw that there was a musician right beside the bar.
"Looks like there's more music around here," said Eliad. "I saw a number of musicians outside as well."
"Hello, friend," greeted Tahandil, walking to the bar. "May I have my flasked filled back up with whiskey, and get Eliad anything he would like?"
"Ah...," said Eliad, following him. "Tea is fine."
"I like music," said Tahandil, nodding towards Eliad. "It sometimes calms the nerves, not better than whiskey though." He added a chuckle.
"Chrissy will hopefully be around soon so I can ask her about the herbs though I have time to spend," came a voice.
"Chrissy?" repeated Tahandil, turning as he heard the name spoken. "Who are you if I may ask?"
Eliad glanced over towards the two at the pillar now. He noticed that the man beside Raven looked slightly younger and had darker colored hair than Raven.
"This is my other half," smiled Raven, gesturing at the man. "I am vaguely familiar with you."
"Ithelion," introduced the man, turning. "Ithelion Wrendale of Lossarnach."
Hw bowed lightly to the men.
"Ah, I see," said Tahandil, raising his hand in a wave. "Hello, doctor. How have you been?"
"I have been better myself," smiled Raven.
Ithelion smiled and sipped from the glass again.
"Greetings, Ithelion," said Tahandil, nodding to the other. "I am Tah."
"Chrissy's father...," said Ithelion, bowing his head. "I have heard much about you."
Eliad glanced towards Tahandil before back at the two once again, saying nothing.
"Knowing my little dove, she most likely didn't stop talking," chuckled Tahandil lightly.
"Good to see you are alive and well...," smiled Raven, nodding. "Ahaha... Fireworks..."
Damn it, Chrissy...
"Oh, dear...," said Eliad. "More of them..?"
"Yes," chuckled Ithelion, nodding. "She also has a habit of setting fireworks off under men. She is wonderful collecting herbs though."
Eliad smiled and shook his head, hearing this. Tahandil raised a brow then nudged Eliad with his elbow.
"And you let her carry on doing this?" asked Tahandil.
"I've had to confiscate the fireworks from her several times," smirked Raven.
"Even if I were to stop her, she's too quick," chuckled Eliad, glancing at his father.
"Last man almost became a miss when she was done," chuckled Ithelion.
"That girl...," said Tahandil, facepalming.
"That's Chrissy for you, Dad...," said Eliad.
Ithelion laughed before coughing a bit and setting the glass on the floor.
"I should get some fresh air for a bit," said Ithelion.
Raven frowned gently at Ithelion in concern.
"Well, I thank you for taking the fireworks from her, doctor," said Tahandil, sighing. "May I buy you two gentleman a drink?"
"Forgive me but a moment and thank you, sir, but maybe another time," smiled Ithelion, trying to hold in his coughs.
"I would enjoy that very much," answered Raven, glancing back at Tahandil. "However, Ithelion is a recovering alcoholic at the moment. No booze for him."
"Understood," said Tahandil, nodding. "How about you, doc?"
Ithelion moved out the door, still coughing.
"Aye...," answered Raven.
"Alright," said Tahandil. "What is your poison..?"
"Brandy," replied Raven.
"Whiskey...," muttered Demlemoth.
Tahandil stopped as he saw the man walk out.
"Is he alright?" asked Tahandil.
"He will be fine, yes...," answered Raven, nodding as he ambled closer. "Nasty cold going around."
"Rather unfortunate," frowned Eliad, glancing at Tahandil afterwards. "You and Mel best not get sick either."
"I just recovered it myself," said Raven. "Be careful around people who cough or sneeze..."
"He is supposed to go to that festival with someone," grinned Eliad, pointing at Tahandil as he glanced at Raven.
"I understand...," said Tahandil, nodding. He turned towards Barliman afterwards. "One glass of Brandy please." He nodded towards the two. "Yes, we do not need that on mine and her date." He turned to hand Raven the brandy before taking his flask, saying, "Sir by the fire, here you go."
He then tossed it over. Raven turned and eyed Chrissy, giving her a firm, scolding look, akin to one a stern mother would give a naughty child.
"Chrissy...," said Eliad, glancing at Chrissy.
Chrissy looked at him slightly confused as she moved over to them and then spotting Tahandil. Eliad caught a glimpse of a backpack filled with fireworks on her back.
"Ada!" exclaimed Chrissy.
She ran over and hugged him tightly. Tahandil raised a brow before smiling.
"Little dove...," said Tahandil softly.
"What did I say about fireworks indoors, my dear...," said Raven.
Tahandil chuckled and picked her up, giving her a big hug. Chrissy giggled until she heard Raven.
"To not bring them inside, sir," answered Chrissy.
"You should listen to Mister Raven, Chrissy," said Eliad.
"Sorry, sir," said Chrissy, looking a bit guilty.
"I heard you have been giving people some trouble, dove," chuckled Tahandil. "Why is that?"
"Because it is fun, ada," grinned Chrissy, looking at Tahandil.
Eliad noticed that Raven stepped away from the bar before looking back at his family. He did not notice if Demlemoth caught the flask but would seem so as Barliman had given Tahandil's flask back to him.
"Sorry, sir," said Barliman. "He allowed spirits."
"What on earth are we going to do with you, little missy," smiled Eliad, shaking his head.
"Yes, it is...," said Tahandil, shaking his head before setting Chrissy down. "But also quite rude. Must be considerate, little dove. Would you like to have a firework blow up on your hind end?"
Chrissy shrugged slightly and maneuvers carefully, letting her backpack drop to the floor.
"Thanks for keeping a close eye on her," said Eliad, glancing at Raven.
Raven smiled gently and nodded. Eliad blinked and glanced at a familiar figure towards the second post, tensing as his eyes widened, cursing under his breath in his native tongue. It was Aduninzil.
