A Letter to Elorfin #6

Father,

It has been too long since my last letter, I hope this letter finds you well. It is with much joy I can pen this to you, as although my recent trials have ended there is one that still remains.

As one of his last acts, Lord Veryacano lifted his punishment from my life so that I may finally be with the Lady whom I love so dearly.. Amorith. The moment passed quickly and I rode with haste to find my love, finding her on the western reaches of the
Trollshaws.. her surprise and delight were a joy to me..

During and since that time, many have expressed sympathy and now joy at the reunion of our hearts, even in these dark days it is most welcome to see such kind hearted folk with genuine interest in the affairs of others.

I was privileged to witness the return of Lord Anglachelm whom has now is Tur of Vanimar once again, a dignified and joyous ceremony took place where Lord Veryacano returned the house to lord Anglachelm. Many were present and all were honoured to be there.

It is with a degree of irony that upon meeting our new Tur in a formal capacity he has bestowed on me a new task one of Noldor tradition, to prove my worth for the hand of Lady Amorith. Initially I thought it impossible but my understanding has grown, shortly I shall present myself to Lord Anglachelm to complete this task and receive the final blessing of this house.

Father I am happy, I have seen hard times and heartache, but it has been worth it to know the Lady whom I love waits for me with a patient and loving heart.
