Goodbye Ross Cirdain

Neyaa visits the grave of Rossethor Cirdain, having received a missive from his wife Nimeway to tell her he recently passed away, peacefully in his sleep. She places some flowers upon his grave, with this note attached.

My Dearest Rossethor,

You were the first man that I loved and the first to break my heart, but I have forgiven you a thousand times since and would a thousand times more.

It takes strength to make your way through grief, and I do not know that I have that strength, but I know that I must try. And when one stops grieving, it does not mean that they have forgotten the one they have lost. Grief, after all, is the price we pay for love.

How I long for just one more moment, to hear your wise counsel, what is it you would say unto me I wonder? I think that you would laugh and tell me that I never listened to you about Hardoleth, and you are right, I never learn.

Rest now my old warrior. A man is never forgotten as long as his name is spoken...

Your friend,

Neyaa Sunngifu.
