Belodin's Diary: The long March.

253 days Untill Durin's day.

Not a day goes by with out missing you m'dear Brulda.

Jokes, laughter and good spirits, my kin marches with A smile. Our steps sounding deep through the mountain pass, climbing ever higher. Our equipment rikkeling as we walk. The cold of the mountain is bone sheering but non of my marching kin seems to mind. We have quickened the pace and are prepared for everything!

I have suggest we would travel via the Redhoorn pass duo to the closing of the gap or Rohan. The members of my company seemed to agree it would be a saver route to take, and so we have set course.

We encountered A small party of Goblin raiders. An amusing sight seeing these foolish creatures encounter A full compliment of Dwarven Warriors, it took us around 12 minutes to slaughter each and every one of file creatures. Non of my kin seems to be harmed in a significant way. Songs were shared that night. Although I joined the sungs at heart, my mind was else where. I seem to be the only one that has realized we just entered the struggle for middle-earth. Because where vile creatures thrive, many more should be expected to be with them.

I took the first watch, it has given me some time to think. I have also time to reflect on my actions during the short battle, i took four of the creatures under my hammer, but I was beaten by Captain Suldrinon by his kill count of seven. His skill with the Dwarven short sword is admirable and a sight to behold. But for now, its time to rest.
