Diary Entry Ten - New life

I was invited to witness the birth of Nemben, son of Andarne and Malliel. He was a miracle to behold, he is beautiful and brought with him hope and joy. I do not think I have seen hîr Andarne ever so worried, but all went well, very well, as hiril Nimlith was there, giving help and comfort to the mother-to-be. I was asked to give him a name.. and that I did. For me, he is known as Tinwënde, "He who sparkles". It was a name that came to me as I was resting in the glade, as my mind drifted off, thinking of the future. Tinwënde is to bring light into our lives, it is something I sense, a sparkling flame that warms our hearts and souls as the cold darkness creeps closer. Beautiful child....
