A Disruption In A Newly Found Friendship

Yrminas offered a smile to ease some of the tensity , then he turns to her catching her glum expression.

Yrminas says, 'Impressive, not only did you not achieve what you set out to, but you also managed to insult him and consider him to punish you all over again.' Yrminas folded his arms , seeming unsure wether to be bemused or concerned for her sake. The looks she gave him, suggesting to him that she just needed to blame someone for something.

Faerhild drew in a long breath of cold air, considering him with icy calm, although her trembling chapped lips and shaky legs perhaps managed to obscure her solemn stare, "I do not fear for punishment for a crime....I have done and keep comitting. It is my will to do so. And I have learnt yours is equally dishonourable, as without a moment of hesitation you give in the names of those who fought  by your side, convicting them to be concerned as criminals." Faerhild looks away from him, grunting several times in pain as she makes down the stairs with great effort.

Yrminas says, 'You believe it is my intent to see these men branded as outlaws? The Reeve knows a few names, yes, however not whom of these are sworn to him even if they would be caught.' Yrminas pretty much would remain ahead of her , not saying it's intended to catch her in the case she falls.

She speaks, 'He knows them by face, as they both have visited the town. Yrmenlaf spoke in Regnwald's behalf in his trial even if he was not of his warband. Now you have branded him...as a criminal.'

Yrminas says, 'In fact it would be a good thing if he sent some of his men after them....And the Reeve brands these men as criminals. Not me.'

Faerhild says, 'You have given him the chance to do that. Which he now must do, for reasons bigger than him.'

Yrminas says, 'Nonsense. The reeve himself said that he is only after Regnwald and his oathsworn. He did not capture me did he?'

Faerhild says, 'Yrmenlaf is of Regnwald's blood.'

Yrminas says, 'Which does not mean...'

Faerhild grunts in pain, before speaking again, 'You are surprisingly foolish for such a wise man.'

Yrminas says, 'What do you mean?'

Faerhild narrows her eyes briefly as if in evaluation as she looks at him, before she'd step forth slowly, her face twisting in pain, 'You assume many things before you take the time to look into them...'

Yrminas says, 'Things such as?'

Faerhild speaks, 'You assume a reeve is free to do as he pleases....while he is not.'

Yrminas says, 'Bound by the laws surely. You speak in riddles.'
Yrminas offers his hand to help her up the last few steps.

Faerhild looks past his hand, stepping up herself, 'I do not speak in riddles...yet it seems you do not understand the burden of politics.'

Yrminas says, 'Politics?' Yrminas spoke out the word as if it left a sour taste on his tongue.

She considered for a moment, before repeating the words of another old man, 'There is a lot of pressure on our Reeve...his hands are tied in many ways.'

Yrminas says, 'And what does that have to do with Regnwald?'

Faerhild sighs as she takes a heavy step forth, 'You clearly know nothing of this...And it surprises me you act with haste when you know so little....Not something a scout should do.' Faerhild steps forth, not halting before the infirmary, although it's a slow and painful path.

Yrminas says, 'Those are bold words coming from someone that can barely stand and would not take the time to warm her limbs up and calm the mind.'

She casts a surprisingly sharp look at him despite her sickly state, 'Yet they are directed toward a man who has destroyed the life of two men to gain favours in the eyes of another....I came here to say exactly what I have said here. I do not know why you have come here, yet I suggest you go and find out.'

Yrminas says, 'You mean Yrmenlaf and Langhund? Why if they but say that they were never sworn into Regnwald's service then where is there anything they should be bereft from?...And I am not here for any favours.'

She looks at him, 'You suggest these proud men would lie if they'd be captured? You truly assume so?'

Yrminas frowns.

She coughs, before returning his frown, 'I kept their names, for I gave an oath to Regnwald. I do not expect you to understand, yet I hope you understand why I can not respect you for making my deed empty.' She sighs, 'So I suggest you find other company to keep... Besides I think my company will grant you no favours. Did you not hear the reeve's words?'

Yrminas comes down to stand before her, an arm stretched out that's aimed for the meadhall, 'You just told an old man that he needs to send an army to release his son, in the hands of orcs. You called him a coward for seeing that he can not spare the men for such a task. You continue to demand a punishment while you should do your best to have your hands untied, -if- you want to serve your lord and your captain as well. And if Regnwald and the others are trying to get into that fortress by just themselves they are doomed men with the handful they are.If the Reeve sends those he trusts after them, he may just change his mind when enough voices tell him of the increasing threat of the orcs.'

Faerhild replies, 'You know nothing of my plans. I did not ask for an army, but offered him a key. And he is a coward, for he think his heart can not stand hope. Hope that his son is still alive. I know this for I have discussed about it with him several times. I hoped he'd be more brave this time.'

Yrminas says, 'Regnwald chose his path, as did those with them, they fled from the Reeve his men so they likely consider themselves outlaw already.'

Faerhild says, 'They fled because I -asked- them to...'Because I promised things, which I have  now kept. "

Yrminas says, 'Which was still their call to make.'
Yrminas falls quiet a moment, seemingly it dawns on him where he has erred.

Faerhild says to him, ' You keep assuming things about me, the reeve, Regnwald and his men...I suggest you to learn more, before you act the next time. For there is little wisdom in hasty assumptions.' Faerhild attempts to move past him, appearing as tired as ever, physically and emotionally.

Yrminas steps aside..then he looks up.
Yrminas says, '.. I apologize. My intent was only to prevent Eorlings tossing their lives away.'

Faerhild offers him a sad expression, inclining her head in silence. She'd then open the door and step to rest in the infirmary,
