Words in a Book, Twelve

The strangest thing happened today. I finally made it to the Dawn Hall, there I found out that Basa left for the mountains, leaving behind his Captain seat, and sigil. No passing it down to anyone, just a note that read: "To the officer that finds this first, tag you're it." Or some such, I honestly didn't quite pick it all up, I was shocked to hear that he left, and now in his place is this TerraLynn. Aeru told me about this, of course, but to see the someone else wearing the golden hued sigil made it hit home harder. We spoke at length, and in the end I found myself now holding the Captain's seat. I couldn't tell you all that happened, only that this TerraLynn felt she did not know the Dawn anymore, nor it's people. After a time, she simply pulled the sigil off and handed it to me. Strange happenings, I will need some time to wrap my head around it all, but for now, I guess I've a Company to run.
