The Journal: Entry I

So... I went with my kindred to rescue the hobbits and a woman called Falthanna, or that's at least what Strider told me. Anyway he seemed surprised as he found the woman. We released the hobbits and the woman and then ran back towards the gate to find our brother Amdir. I have reached him first, but what I have seen there... 
He was talking to a rider... well I was not sure what it was... it seemed to be a Black Rider, a Nazgul... but what was it doing there? They are not so easily seen in those places. I've tried to help him but a wave of dread passed us and pushed me back from them. I fell to the ground and had just enough time to look up and see the blade piercing Amdir. I was like frozen, then heard the screams from the other side. The rider came closer to the 'prisoners' then strider emerged from the other side, wielding torches. He passed one to me then we pushed back the ringwraith. The camp kept catching flames easily. The hobbits and the woman ran towards Amdir and tried to help him. As the rider vanished in the distance we got Amdir and went towards the village of Archet. We needed to warn them about the incoming attack, and it was a good spot to let Amdir recover a bit. The people there let us have a rest but they and their captain remained unconvinced by our warnings. The woman we found decided to show them the real danger. Anyway, Strider left not long after we reached the village, leaving me and Amdir behind to assist the people there.
